The Role
You will support pupils with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities, helping them participate in learning, develop independence and build positive relationships.
Your responsibilities will include:
Providing tailored support to meet individual pupil needs.
Encouraging engagement, communication and confidence.
Supporting classroom activities and learning objectives.
Helping pupils develop social and independent living skills where appropriate.
Working collaboratively with teaching staff.
Maintaining a positive, safe and inclusive learning environment.
What You Will Need:
Essential previous experience supporting children or young people with SEND.
GCSEs, including good literacy and numeracy skills.
Patience, resilience and a positive attitude.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
The ability to adapt to different pupil needs.
A reliable and professional approach to work.
Full-time availability, Monday to Friday.
Own transport or reliable daily commuting arrangements.
