Behaviour Support Buddy

This Behaviour Support Buddy role in Wigan involves working with a behavioural school to support children with social, emotional, and mental health difficulties. The position offers £112 to £113 per day. Responsibilities include providing one-on-one and group assistance to students with social and emotional difficulty, collaborating with teachers and support staff to create tailored learning plans, and fostering a positive and inclusive classroom environment. Candidates should be resilient and confident supporting children with Autism, Dyslexia, ADHD, and challenging behaviours. Experience with SEMH children is preferred but not essential. Strong communication, teamwork, patience, and empathy are required.

BEHAVIOUR SUPPORT / 1:1 / SEMH TA

Your Role

As a Youth Worker, you will play a crucial role in supporting special needs children in their academic and personal development. Your responsibilities will include:

- Providing one-on-one and group assistance to students with social and emotional difficulty.

- Collaborating with teachers and other support staff to create tailored learning plans.

- Fostering a positive and inclusive classroom environment.

- Assisting with daily activities, personal care, and promoting independence.

Requirements

- Experience working with SEMH children is preferred but not essential.

- Passion for creating an inclusive and supportive learning environment.

- Strong communication and teamwork skills.

- Patience, empathy, and a positive attitude.
