Job Description

BMS Engineer - Maintenance & Small Works

London & South East
£45,000 - £55,000 + -6,000 Car Allowance

Looking for an opportunity to develop your BMS expertise beyond Trend? We're recruiting for a growing, independent BMS systems integrator offering engineers the chance to broaden their technical skills, gain hands-on experience with Delta Controls and become part of an ambitious business at an exciting stage of its growth.

The Opportunity

This is an excellent opportunity for a BMS Engineer who enjoys a mixture of maintenance, fault-finding and small works projects.

You'll be working across commercial buildings throughout London and the South East, handling everything from planned preventative maintenance and reactive servicing to controller replacements, system modifications and upgrades.

The real attraction is the opportunity to develop your technical capabilities. While Trend experience is essential, you'll receive training on Delta Controls systems, allowing you to expand your platform knowledge and take on more technically challenging work as your experience grows.

Joining a smaller, growing integrator also means greater involvement in projects, a varied workload and the opportunity to progress alongside the business.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive servicing across BMS installations.

  • Fault-finding and diagnosing issues on Trend control systems.

  • Undertaking small works projects, including controller replacements and system modifications.

  • Supporting commissioning, testing and upgrades of existing BMS installations.

  • Developing your knowledge of Delta Controls through training and hands-on experience.

  • Getting involved in Trend IQVision upgrades and more complex technical work as your experience develops.

  • Working directly with customers to maintain and improve building control systems.

What You'll Bring

  • Previous experience in BMS service, maintenance or commissioning.

  • Hands-on experience with Trend BMS systems is essential.

  • A good understanding of HVAC plant and building control systems.

  • Confidence in fault-finding, troubleshooting and routine maintenance.

  • Experience with Delta Controls or Tridium/Niagara would be beneficial but isn't essential.

  • A willingness to get involved in varied work and develop new technical skills.

  • A full UK driving licence.

What's On Offer

  • £45,000 - £55,000 basic salary depending on experience.

  • -6,000 annual car allowance (-500 per month).

  • 25 days' annual leave + bank holidays.

  • An additional day off for your birthday.

  • An extra day's holiday for each year of service, up to five additional days.

  • Private healthcare and company pension.

  • Annual salary reviews and discretionary bonuses.

  • Training and development on Delta Controls systems.

  • Opportunities to gain experience with controller upgrades, commissioning and IQVision.

  • A varied workload across established commercial sites.

  • The opportunity to grow and progress within an expanding independent BMS integrator.
