Carpenter

Frontline Construction is recruiting an experienced Carpenter for fire door installation in Boscombe, Bournemouth, on a contract basis at £220 per day. The role involves installing fire doors and door sets, and fitting door frames, hinges, closers, locks and other ironmongery. The successful candidate will ensure doors are correctly fitted, aligned and operating as intended, following fire door installation specifications and manufacturer guidelines while maintaining high standards of workmanship and health and safety on site. Applicants must have proven fire door installation experience, relevant carpentry qualifications or demonstrable experience, a valid CSCS card, and their own tools and PPE.

Frontline Construction is currently recruiting an experienced Carpenter with fire door installation experience for an upcoming project.

We are looking for a reliable, skilled carpenter with previous experience installing fire doors to a high standard and in accordance with the relevant fire safety requirements.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Installation of fire doors and door sets.
• Fitting door frames, hinges, closers, locks and other ironmongery.
• Ensuring doors are correctly fitted, aligned and operating as intended.
• Following fire door installation specifications and manufacturer guidelines.
• Maintaining a high standard of workmanship and health and safety on site.

Requirements

• Proven experience in fire door installation.
• Relevant carpentry qualifications or demonstrable experience.
• Valid CSCS card.
• Own tools and PPE.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
• Good understanding of fire door installation standards and compliance requirements.
