Premier Work Support is recruiting temporary Cleaners in Burgess Hill on a weekday contract paying £13.85 per hour plus holiday accrual. The role involves maintaining high standards of cleanliness across the client's site and ensuring designated areas are cleaned and maintained to a high standard. Candidates should be reliable, punctual and hardworking, with good communication skills, and able to work both independently and as part of a team. A good eye for detail and commitment to hygiene are important, along with the ability to follow cleaning procedures, COSHH guidelines and health and safety requirements. Previous cleaning experience is desirable but not essential, as training can be provided.

About the Role

As a Cleaner, you will play an important role in maintaining high standards of cleanliness across our client' site. You will work as part of a professional team to ensure that all designated areas are cleaned and maintained to a high standard.

Previous cleaning experience is desirable but not essential, as training can be provided for the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities

• Cleaning toilets, washrooms and other facilities
• Sweeping, mopping and vacuuming floors
• Cleaning staircases, corridors and communal areas
• Dusting and wiping surfaces
• Emptying bins and disposing of waste appropriately
• Maintaining high standards of cleanliness throughout the site
• Using cleaning products and equipment safely and correctly
• Following COSHH and health & safety procedures
• Reporting any maintenance, cleaning or health and safety issues to the appropriate person
• Carrying out other cleaning duties as required by the Site Supervisor

Requirements

• Good communication skills and a professional approach to work
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Willingness to follow COSHH, health & safety and site-specific procedures
• Previous cleaning experience is advantageous but not essential

Pay & Hours

-13.85 per hour

Shift Timing:

• 06:00am -11:00 am
• Tuesday to Friday
• Occasional weekend cover may be required
