Cnc Programmer

This is a permanent, full-time CNC Miller Programmer Setter Operator role in Nottingham, working day shifts for a well-established precision engineering company. The successful candidate will programme, set and operate CNC milling machines, including online programming using Fanuc, Heidenhain or similar controls. Duties also include reading and interpreting engineering drawings, selecting appropriate tooling and cutting strategies, and performing first-off and in-process inspection using measuring equipment such as micrometers, verniers and gauges. Applicants should have previous experience as a CNC Miller Programmer Setter Operator, be able to programme, set and operate independently, and work to tight tolerances and high-quality standards. Salary is negotiable depending on experience.

• Positive attitude with excellent attention to detail.
