Contracts Manager

This Contracts Manager role sits with a specialist landscaping contractor delivering high-end residential garden refurbishments across the West Midlands and Cotswold region, based in Cirencester. The position carries a salary of £70,000 to £80,000 per annum. The successful candidate will take contractual ownership of multiple garden refurbishment projects from pre-start through to handover, reviewing contracts and managing variations, notices and change control. They will also work alongside the commercial team on valuations, cost reports and final accounts, and lead and support Site Managers to deliver on programme, budget and quality. A landscaping background is not required.

Contracts Manager - High-End Residential Landscaping - Cotswolds

Our client is a specialist landscaping contractor delivering high-end residential garden refurbishments across the West Midlands & Cotswold region, and is looking for an experienced Contracts Manager to take ownership of a portfolio of projects worth up to a few million each.

You don't need a landscaping background for this role. The Site Managers and site teams bring the technical know-how. What the business needs is someone with a strong contractual grip who can run projects commercially, manage demanding private clients and keep delivery on track.

Key Responsibilities

• Take contractual ownership of multiple garden refurbishment projects from pre-start through to handover
• Review contracts and manage variations, notices and change control
• Work alongside the commercial team on valuations, cost reports and final accounts
• Lead and support Site Managers to deliver on programme, budget and quality
• Act as the main point of contact for clients, architects, garden designers and consultants
• Maintain H&S, compliance and documentation across all sites

The Ideal Contracts Manager will have:

• Strong contractual experience
• A background in high-end residential, super-prime or similar quality-driven work
• Experience overseeing projects up to a few million in value
• Confidence managing private clients and their professional teams
• Landscaping experience is a bonus but not essential
