Job Description

Corporate Income Officer

Location: Either our London or Cambridge office, with some travel between the two.

Salary: £41,883 per annum

Vacancy Type: Permanent, Full time (35 hours per week)

"We work to make the internet a safer place." Never has a truer word been spoken of the Internet Watch Foundation. Our work is trusted by police, governments, and technology companies. Our tech-for-good services are used by over 200 companies, including some of the tech giants. And now you could be part of our team to help us in our mission.

Businesses are increasingly looking for meaningful ways to make a difference, and few causes matter more than keeping children safe online. At IWF, we find and remove child sexual abuse imagery from the internet, and our corporate partners help make that possible. We're looking for someone to help more companies join us.

As our Corporate Income Officer, you'll work closely with our Corporate Income Manager to find, secure and nurture partnerships with companies and corporate foundations. You'll help businesses see how supporting IWF connects with their CSR, ESG and employee engagement goals, and you'll make sure every partner feels valued, informed and proud of the impact they're having.

What you'll be doing

  • Researching and identifying new corporate prospects, and building relationships with CSR, ESG, HR and senior business contacts
  • Writing tailored proposals, presentations and partnership propositions
  • Acting as the day-to-day contact for a portfolio of corporate partners
  • Coordinating employee fundraising, volunteering, sponsorship and other engagement activity
  • Gathering impact stories and data, and preparing reports that show partners the difference their support makes
  • Keeping accurate pipeline and income records in Salesforce

Who we're looking for

You'll have at least two years' experience in fundraising, corporate partnerships, business development, CSR/ESG, account management or a related field, including experience of generating income from companies or corporate foundations. You'll be a confident communicator and strong proposal writer, comfortable engaging senior business stakeholders, and highly organised enough to juggle multiple opportunities and deadlines. You'll understand what motivates businesses to partner with charities, and you'll bring energy, creativity and good judgement to every relationship.

Experience using a CRM, ideally Salesforce, is important. Most of all, you'll be passionate about our mission and able to inspire others to support it.

You will not be required to view criminal images. All applicants will be subject to enhanced DBS checks prior to confirmation of employment.

£41,883.00 per annum + benefits which include generous annual leave entitlement, pension scheme, life assurance, private health care, cycle to work scheme. We also have on-site parking.

Hours: Full time - 35 hours per week. This role can be based in either our London or Cambridge office, with some travel between the two. We are a family-friendly employer and take a flexible approach around personal commitments when agreeing work patterns.
