E&I Technician

This E&I Technician role in Alton covers routine and reactive maintenance and repairs within a specialist industrial environment, supporting the safe and efficient operation of production and gas plant facilities. Working Monday to Friday, 7:30am to 4:30pm plus a call out rota, you will service process instrumentation including transmitters and analysers, maintain site equipment and services safely, and respond to out-of-hours breakdowns when required. You will also perform equipment isolations in line with permits, support new plant installation and commissioning, and work alongside specialist engineers and contractors while maintaining high safety and housekeeping standards. The position is commutable from Farnham, Basingstoke, Winchester and Aldershot.

The Role

• Carry out routine and reactive maintenance and repairs

The Candidate

• 4-5 years' relevant maintenance experience
• Instrumentation Apprenticeship or NVQ Level 3
• Good knowledge of electrical systems
• Understanding of the oil and gas industry
