Academics is looking for enthusiastic Early Career Primary Teachers for temporary, flexible ongoing supply opportunities across primary schools in Doncaster. The start of a new academic year can be a great time to explore new opportunities, build your confidence and gain experience across different school settings. Some partner schools may also be able to offer support towards ECT induction terms, depending on the placement.

Position: Early Career Primary Teacher
Location: Doncaster, South Yorkshire
Contract: Temporary, flexible ongoing supply
Pay: -130 - -190 per day (dependent on experience, training, qualifications and client rate available, paid via PAYE - no umbrella company fees, inclusive of holiday pay)
Start Date: ASAP or a date that suits you

As an Early Career Primary Teacher in Doncaster, you will have the opportunity to teach across different primary year groups, develop your classroom practice and gain experience in a range of school environments. Key Responsibilities

• Delivering engaging lessons in line with the primary curriculum
• Creating a positive and supportive classroom environment
• Supporting pupils' learning, progress and development
• Managing classroom behaviour using positive strategies
• Working collaboratively with school staff to support pupils' needs

Candidate Requirements

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant eligibility to work as a qualified teacher
• Recently completed teacher training or at an early stage of your teaching career
• A positive and enthusiastic approach to teaching
• Good communication and classroom management skills
• An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one
