Fabricator welder

This role is for a Fabricator Welder based in Brumby, offering £21.03 to £29.44 per hour. The successful candidate will fabricate and weld high-quality metal components, structural steelwork, and heavy industrial machinery to technical specifications, combining workshop fabrication with on-site engineering operations across key Scunthorpe locations. Responsibilities include fabricating and welding structural steel and heavy plates in line with engineering layout drawings, and carrying out high-quality MIG/MAG and MMA (Stick) welding processes to rigorous industry standards. The position also involves safely operating workshop machinery, hand tools, cutting equipment, and grinders, and inspecting completed components to ensure they meet specified tolerances.

The Role

As a Fabricator Welder, you will be responsible for fabricating and welding high-quality metal components, structural steelwork, and heavy industrial machinery according to technical specifications. The position requires a mix of workshop fabrication and on-site engineering operations across our key Scunthorpe locations.
Key Responsibilities:

• Fabricate and weld structural steel and heavy plates in accordance with engineering and engineering layout drawings.
• Carry out high-quality MIG/MAG and MMA (Stick) welding processes to rigorous industry standards.
• Safely operate standard workshop machinery, hand tools, cutting equipment, and grinders.
• Inspect and measure completed components to ensure they meet specified tolerances.
• Comply strictly with all on-site health and safety regulations, maintaining a clean and secure working environment.
