Field Service Engineer

This is a field-based Field Service Engineer role covering the Midlands region, working from Aldridge. You will use your technical skills to provide reactive and planned maintenance across a variety of sites, working autonomously. The position offers a basic salary of £35,500 with on-target earnings of £50,000+ and plenty of overtime available. The company provides structured industry training to help develop your skills and progress your career, and works with multiple blue chip clients. This role would suit a Field Service Engineer who is looking to join a leading UK company where you will have the opportunity to increase earnings through overtime.

The Role:

• Planned and reactive maintenance on a variety of generators, fault finding i.e. control panel, AC/DC electrical systems, genset synchronization
• -17.25 p/h basic, 39hrs per week - 8:00am to 16:30 Monday to Thursday, 15:30 finish Friday
• Overtime 1.5x - paid from 6:00am to 8:00am, then 16:30pm to 00:00pm/ 2.0x paid 00:00 to 6:00am
• Midlands patch (up to Liverpool, Sheffield, down to Oxford & Worcester) Occasional visits to depot in Birmingham required

The Person:

• Experience working on generators, plant hire, diesel engines and/or similar equipment
• Full, Clean UK driving license
• Looking to develop your skills through industry specific training and courses.
