Flt Driver

This is a Flt Driver role based in Birtley within a manufacturing facility's stores department. The position pays £14.03 per hour and involves off loading products onto pallets, measuring out materials in preparation for manufacturing, and moving stock around the stores department both manually and using an FLT. The successful candidate will follow specific instructions for different product types and work to daily targets. Manual lifting is required, so applicants must be physically fit, and good numerical skills are essential for working with measurements. Previous forklift truck use or a Fork Lift licence is highly advantageous.

FLT Driver

We are looking to recruit a Factory Labourer to work within a manufacturing facility in Birtley.

This will be working within the stores department, the pay rate for this position is -12.77 per hour plus -1.26 shift allowance per hour (-14.06 including S/A).

The role involves:

• Off loading products onto pallets
• Measuring out materials in preparation for manufacturing
• Movement of stock around the stores department (manually and with the use of FLT)
• Following specific instructions for different types of product
• Working to daily targets

This does require manually lifting the materials so applicants must be physically fit.

The role will involve working on a two shift pattern 6.00am -2.00pm, Monday to Friday 2.00pm-10.00pm Monday to Friday.

Essential Attributes:

• Good numerical skills as you will be working with numbers for measurements
• Physically fit

Desired Experience:

• Previous use of a fork lift truck or a Fork Lift license is highly advantageous
