FLT Warehouse Operative (must have FLT licence)

This role is for an FLT Warehouse Operative based in Sellindge, paying £12.71 to £13.50 per hour. You must hold an in-house or accredited Counterbalance FLT licence. Duties include operating a Counterbalance Forklift Truck safely and efficiently, loading and unloading deliveries and goods, and moving, handling and positioning stock within the warehouse. You will also carry out manual handling duties when required and follow all health and safety procedures. A responsible approach to health and safety is essential, along with a reliable, hardworking and flexible attitude.

FLT Warehouse Operatives - Ashford & Lympne

Pay: -12.71 - -13.50 per hour | Various Shifts Available

We are currently recruiting FLT Warehouse Operatives to join our busy warehouse operations across the Ashford and Lympne areas.

We have opportunities available at two different sites, offering a variety of shift patterns to suit different candidates. If you have a valid Counterbalance FLT licence and experience working in a warehouse environment, we would love to hear from you!

The Role

Your duties will include:

• Operating a Counterbalance Forklift Truck (FLT) safely and efficiently.

• Loading and unloading deliveries and goods.

• Moving, handling and positioning stock within the warehouse.

• Carrying out manual handling duties when required.

• Following all health and safety procedures.

• Supporting the wider warehouse team to ensure the smooth running of daily operations.

Requirements

To be considered for these roles, you must have:

• An in-house or accredited Counterbalance FLT licence.

• A responsible approach to health and safety.

• The ability to carry out manual handling duties when required.

• A reliable, hardworking and flexible attitude.

• The ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

Previous warehouse or FLT experience would be advantageous.

Transport requirements: Having a full UK driving licence and your own transport is desirable, particularly for one of our sites due to its location. The other site is more accessible by public transport, so there may be an option to suit your travel arrangements.

Shift Patterns Available

Site 1 - Monday to Friday

• Working hours: 8:00am - 5:00pm.

• Consistent weekday working pattern.

• Ideal for candidates looking for regular Monday-to-Friday hours.

Site 2 - Seven Days a Week

• Rotating shift patterns.

• Shift start times vary between 6:00am and 2:00am, depending on the allocated shift.

• Flexibility is required to work on a rotating basis.

Pay Rates

• -12.71 - -13.50 per hour.
