This is a London-based, on-site role for a Full Stack Product Engineer at an AI business developing solutions that help financial institutions automate complex financial crime reviews. You will take ownership of features from initial scoping through to deployment, working across frontend, backend, APIs, databases and AI-powered workflows. Are you a Full-Stack Engineer with strong TypeScript and React experience looking to build AI-powered products from concept through to production while working directly with founders and customers in a high-growth technology startup?

This is an outstanding opportunity to join an ambitious AI business developing solutions that help financial institutions automate complex financial crime reviews. You'll work across the full product lifecycle, building features that have a direct impact on customers while helping shape both the product roadmap and engineering culture.

In this position, you will take ownership of features from initial scoping through to deployment, working across frontend, backend, APIs, databases and AI-powered workflows. You'll collaborate closely with founders, designers and end users, solving complex problems and creating intuitive products that deliver measurable value.

The ideal candidate will have experience building and maintaining full-stack applications in a startup or product-focused environment, combined with strong JavaScript and TypeScript skills. Any experience with LLMs, AI tooling, cloud infrastructure or modern SaaS platforms would be highly advantageous.

The Role:

• Build and ship full-stack product features from concept to production
• Develop frontend applications, backend services, APIs and data models
• Integrate LLMs, AI workflows and agent-based solutions
• Improve platform reliability, scalability, security and performance
• Work closely with founders, designers and customers to shape product direction

The Person:

• Commercial full-stack development experience
• Strong JavaScript, TypeScript and React skills
• Experience building APIs, backend services and database-driven applications
• Exposure to LLMs, AI tools or modern AI development workflows
• Product-focused mindset with the ability to take ownership of projects
