Hairdressing Tutor

This part-time Hairdressing Tutor role is based in Gillingham, working up to four days per week for a hair and beauty training academy established over 25 years. You would train and assess learners up to level 3 hairdressing within a state of the art training academy, working for an Ofsted Outstanding educator. The position offers ongoing training to refine your teaching skills and technical abilities, and would suit a current Hairdressing Tutor or a hairdresser wishing to train as a tutor. Salary is £28,000 to £30,000 per annum pro rata, plus excellent large company benefits.

Key Skills for the Role of Hair dressing Tutor:

• NVQ level 3 in hair dressing (or equivalent)
• A sound track record as a hair dresser
• Experience in training and coaching apprentices (not necessarily within an educational setting).-
• You must be great with people.
• You must be supportive and be prepared to work to high standards.-
