About this role
This Handyperson role is based in Walton-on-Thames and offers £25.00 per hour for a temporary position of four weeks. Working across high-end residential apartments, you will carry out reactive and planned maintenance while maintaining high standards of workmanship and customer service. Duties include painting and decorating repairs, basic carpentry and joinery, minor plumbing, repairing doors, locks, handles and fittings, patch repairs and general building upkeep, and installing and repairing fixtures and fittings. You must have previous experience as a Handyperson or Multi-Trade Operative, strong all-round maintenance and repair knowledge, and your own van and tools.

Handyperson Required Walton-on-Thames KT12 £25ph Temp Position - 4 x Weeks
About the Role Are you an experienced Handyperson with your own van and tools, confident carrying out maintenance, repairs and multi-trade work? A well-established company is looking for a reliable Handyperson to work across high-end residential apartments in the Walton-on-Thames area. This Handyperson role offers 4 x weeks work for the right person, carrying out reactive and planned maintenance while maintaining high standards of workmanship and customer service, must live within the Walton-On-Thames area.
Duties
- Carry out reactive and planned maintenance tasks
- Complete painting and decorating repairs
- Undertake basic carpentry and joinery work
- Perform minor plumbing repairs and maintenance
- Repair doors, locks, handles and fittings
- Complete patch repairs and general building upkeep
- Install and repair fixtures and fittings
- Carry out basic tiling and silicone work
Skills & Experience Required
- Previous experience as a Handyperson or Multi-Trade Operative
- Strong all-round maintenance and repair knowledge
- Experience in painting, decorating, carpentry and plumbing
- Own van and tools are essential
- Ability to work independently and manage workload
- Reliable with strong timekeeping
- Well presented with good communication skills
- Must provide 2 satisfactory references
- Live within good travel distance of Walton-On-Thames
