About this role

This role is for a Head of Drama based in West Thurrock, with a salary of £34,068 to £53,834 per annum plus TLR, on a permanent or fixed term basis, starting January 2027. The successful candidate will have strong experience teaching Drama and Performing Arts, and will lead and manage the Drama department, ensuring high standards of teaching and learning. They will raise the achievement of all pupils through high standards and expectations, inspire, challenge and motivate learners across Years 7–13, and promote the school ethos across the whole school.

Key Requirements - Achievement Director of Performing Arts
