Hgv Driver

This role is for an HGV Driver based in Nantgarw, Cardiff (CF15 7QT), recruited by The Recruitment Crowd on behalf of an industry-leading client. Class 1 and Class 2 drivers may apply, though the vehicle is typically Class 2 and occasionally Class 1. The position involves bulk multi-drop work with 15 to 20 drops or collections, and drivers will unload and load roll cages using a tail lift and pump truck. Shifts run Monday to Sunday across days and afternoons, so flexibility with start times is required. Pay is £15.83 per hour for day time and £16.33 per hour for nights.

The Recruitment Crowd are currently recruiting on behalf of our well known and industry-leading client based in the Cardiff area. We are looking for multiple HGV Drivers to join the team.-

*Please note that Class 1 and 2 can apply - typically driving a class 2 vehicle however, on occasions may be Class 1 vehicle*

Shifts: Operation runs across Monday to Sunday-

Start Times: Days and afternoons (drivers need to be flexible with start times)

Pay Rate:

• Day time -15.83 per hour PAYE
• Night Rates -16.33 per hour PAYE-

The role:

• Bulk multi-drop - 15/20 drops/collections. Drivers will be required to unload and load the roll cages using tail lift and pump truck.-

Requirements:

• Full UK driving licence with Class 1 or 2 entitlement (category C&E/C).
• Valid and in date DCPC and Digital Tachograph card.
• 6 months minimum experience required
• No more than 6 points on licence (minor offences only).
• Full understanding of WTD legislation.
• Be prepared to undertake a short driving assessment for the position.
• Excellent communication skills.
• A safety-first mindset.
