HGV Technician

This is a full time, permanent HGV Technician role based at Trafford Park, working night shifts on a 4 on 4 off pattern from 6pm to 6am. The financial package offers a basic salary of £52,764, rising to £60,000 per annum with overtime. Working within an established team at a well-established truck and trailer maintenance business, duties include carrying out thorough vehicle inspections in line with 'O' licence requirements, completing repairs highlighted during inspections, general servicing and MOT preparation, fault finding and diagnostics, and updating all required paperwork and databases. My client, a well-established Truck & Trailer maintenance business is actively seeking to employ an HGV Technician / HGV Mechanic / HGV Fitter on a night shift.

Working in an established team of HGV Technician / HGV Mechanic / HGV Fitter, you will be required to undertake the following;

andmiddot;Carry out thorough vehicle inspections in line with the 'O' licence requirements
andmiddot;Carry out any repairs required that have been highlighted on the initial inspection
andmiddot;General Servicing and MOT preparation
andmiddot;Fault finding & diagnostics
andmiddot;Updating all required paperwork / databases

The successful HGV HGV Technician / HGV Mechanic / HGV Fitter will have the following attributes;

andmiddot;hold full industry qualifications and have served a recognised apprenticeship.
andmiddot;Have detailed knowledge and understanding of Truck & Trailer Maintenance
andmiddot;A commercial licence would be a distinct advantage for isn't essential
andmiddot;Knowledge of Hydraulic and Electrical systems, maintenance and repair
