Infrastructure Engineer

This is an Infrastructure Engineer role based in Cardiff, working within a Central Government environment on secure and resilient infrastructure. The position requires strong experience across Linux, Terraform, AWS, Docker, and Bash or Python, alongside infrastructure security and hardening, vulnerability management, and automation and configuration management. Responsibilities include building and maintaining secure infrastructure, automating provisioning and configuration, and improving platform security and resilience. Recent Central Government experience is required. The role is predominantly remote, with occasional travel to South Wales, typically once per quarter. The rate is £550 per day, Inside IR35 via umbrella.
