Joiner

This Joiner role in Caernarfon offers an immediate start with one of the UK's largest main contractors, working on commercial and construction projects across Wales. Site hours are Monday to Friday, 7:30am to 5:00pm. Key responsibilities include carrying out all aspects of first and second fix joinery, installing doors, frames, skirting, architraves and ironmongery, and fitting kitchens, internal fixtures and timber components. The successful candidate will read and interpret technical drawings, measure, cut and fit timber and sheet materials to a high standard, and ensure work is completed safely and within project timescales. A valid CSCS card, own tools and PPE are required.

Key Responsibilities

• Carrying out all aspects of first and second fix joinery
• Installing doors, frames, skirting, architraves, and ironmongery
• Fitting kitchens, internal fixtures, and timber components
• Reading and interpreting technical drawings and site plans
• Measuring, cutting, and fitting timber and sheet materials to a high standard
• Ensuring work is completed safely, accurately, and within project timescales
• Maintaining a clean, organised, and safe working environment
• Working collaboratively with site management and other trades
• Adhering to all site health and safety procedures and company policies

Requirements

• Proven experience as a site joiner or carpenter
• Valid CSCS card
• Own tools and PPE
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality workmanship
• Reliable with a strong work ethic
