Learning Support Assistant

This full-time Learning Support Assistant role in Hackney is suited to recent graduates seeking hands-on classroom experience before pursuing a teaching career. Based at a high-achieving secondary school, you will support students across KS3, KS4 and KS5, delivering 1:1 and small group interventions and assisting teachers with lesson delivery and classroom management. A high-achieving and well-respected secondary school in Hackney is seeking ambitious graduates to join their team as a Learning Support Assistant. This is an excellent opportunity to develop valuable classroom experience while supporting students across KS3, KS4 and KS5.

The Role:

• Support students across a range of subjects and year groups
• Deliver 1:1 and small group interventions
• Assist teachers with lesson delivery and classroom management
• Help raise student confidence, engagement and attainment
• Work closely with experienced teaching staff and school leaders

Requirements:

• Degree qualified
• Passion for education and supporting young people
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Right to work in the UK
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
• Two professional references
