About this role

This is a Manufacturing Expeditor role based in Gloucestershire, offered on a 6 to 12 month contract at £30 to £35 per hour inside IR35, working onsite across day, bridge or night shifts. The successful candidate will manage 25 to 30 critical Manufacturing Orders, tracking them through every stage of production and working closely with Production, Planning, Quality, Logistics, Special Processes and Suppliers. Responsibilities include removing delays, bottlenecks and waiting time, escalating issues to drive rapid resolution, monitoring recovery plans, producing daily status reports and recovery metrics, and supporting weekly recovery reviews.

We are looking for proactive Manufacturing Expediters to support a critical recovery programme within a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
What you'll be doing

* Managing 25-30 critical Manufacturing Orders.
* Tracking orders through every stage of production.
* Working closely with Production, Planning, Quality, Logistics, Special Processes and Suppliers.
* Removing delays, bottlenecks and waiting time.
* Escalating issues and driving rapid resolution.
* Monitoring recovery plans and ensuring commitments are achieved.
* Producing daily status reports and recovery metrics.
* Supporting weekly recovery reviews.
