Mental Healthcare Assistant

This role is for a Mental Healthcare Assistant in Fordingbridge, working for MCS Healthcare, a CQC-regulated provider supporting people in the community. Pay is £17.00 per hour, with full-time, part-time, flexible zero-hour contracts and shifts from 8:30am to 4:30pm. Duties include administering medication, monitoring health observations, managing epilepsy and other complex needs, and providing reassurance, dignity and emotional support. Applicants need a Care Certificate or NVQ in Health & Social Care, at least one year of care experience, a full UK driving licence, PMVA training, Safeguarding Level 2 or 3, and a DBS.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Administering medication

To be successful, you'll need:

• A Care Certificate or NVQ in Health & Social Care
• At least 1 year of care experience
• A Full UK driving licence
• PMVA (Prevention and Management of Violence and Aggression) training
• Safeguarding Level 2 or 3
• A DBS registered on the Update Service
• Valid Manual Handling & Basic Life Support training
