About this role
This Painter role is based in West Yorkshire on a 5-day contract, working 8 hours per day from 8:00am to 4:30pm with a half-hour unpaid break and a daily reporting time of 7:30am. The rate is £150 to £160 per day. Responsibilities include filling, sanding and painting fire rated timber leaf/frame as required (FD30 / FD60) following remedial or installation works, maintaining clean, compliant work areas, following instructions from the site manager and working neatly with floor protection, and uploading clear photos of completed works.

Painter Required
Working Hours
*8 hours per day
*Shift: 8:00am - 4:30pm (Half an hour unpaid break)
*Daily reporting time: 7:30am
Role Responsibilities
*Filling, sanding and painting fire rated timber leaf/frame as required (FD30 / FD60). After remedial works/ installation works
*Maintaining clean, compliant work areas.
*Following instructions from the site manager and working neatly with floor protection.
*Uploading clear photos of completed works as required.
Certificates Required
*CSCS
*Asbestos Awareness
*Working at Height
*Evidence of previous work on fire rated doors (preferred)
Tools Required - Painter
General Painting Tools:
*Rollers, brushes, trays
*Filling knives and scrapers
*Sanding blocks
*Caulking gun
*Cleaning materials
Specialist Tools:
*Electric sander (mandatory)
*Dust extractor (mandatory)
*Vacuum cleaner (industrial preferred)
Minimum door painting expectation - 6-8 doors/frame a day: full redecoration
