Part 2 Architectural Assistant

This is a Part 2 Architectural Assistant role based in Birmingham, joining the Healthcare team of an award-winning RIBA chartered practice. The position offers a salary of £27,000 to £32,000 per annum plus benefits, including a contributory pension scheme, hybrid working, a generous holiday allowance, and professional and personal development. You will help deliver healthcare projects from inception through to completion, prepare and develop planning schemes into detailed construction drawings, produce technical specifications, tender and working drawing packages, and ensure high quality delivery of drawings. Applicants must have completed their RIBA Part 2 qualification and hold relevant post Part 1 experience within a UK practice.

Duties for the role of Part 2 Architectural Assistant:

• Help deliver on a range of healthcare projects from inception through to completion
• Prepare and develop planning scheme to detailed construction drawings
• Produce technical specifications, tender, and working drawing packages
• Ensure high quality delivery of producing drawings

Requirements for the role of Part 2 Architectural Assistant:

• Successfully completed your RIBA Part 2 qualification
• Relevant post Part 1 qualification experience as an Architectural Assistant within a UK practice
• Relevant Post RIBA Part 2 qualification experience in a relevant role is desirable
• Experience working on projects within the healthcare sector
• Proficiency with Revit
• Excellent drawing and design skills
• Ability to work well collaboratively and independently
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
