Job Description
The school is seeking an enthusiastic and committed teacher to deliver Physical Education across the secondary age range. This role has arisen to provide cover for an absent member of staff and may also extend to cover a period of maternity leave.
The role:
- Teaching Physical Education across Key Stages 3 and 4
- Delivering engaging and inclusive lessons that promote participation and achievement
- Assessing, monitoring and supporting student progress
- Maintaining high standards of behaviour and classroom management
- Contributing positively to the wider school community
The ideal candidate will:
- Hold QTS or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification
- Have experience teaching PE within a secondary school setting
- Demonstrate strong classroom and behaviour management skills
- Be passionate about promoting health, wellbeing and physical activity
- Be organised, reliable and committed to delivering high-quality teaching
Due to the school's requirements, applicants who hold an Enhanced DBS certificate registered with the Update Service will be prioritised. If you do not currently hold an Enhanced DBS certificate, Moore Teachers can facilitate an application, subject to the relevant checks and clearances. The cost of a new DBS application is £49.04.
