Primary Teacher

This is a day-to-day supply teaching role based in Chorley, covering PR6, PR7 and surrounding Lancashire areas. The position involves delivering pre-set lessons and maintaining a well-managed, positive learning environment, while adapting quickly to different school policies, routines and classroom environments. Teachers will engage and motivate pupils of all abilities and manage classroom behaviour in line with individual school guidelines. Marking completed work before leaving and providing handover notes where necessary also form part of the role. Pay ranges from £130 to £200 per day, paid weekly, with day-to-day, short-term and ad-hoc bookings available across EYFS and primary settings.

Key Responsibilities

• Delivering pre-set engaging lessons and maintaining a well-managed, positive learning environment.

• Engaging and motivating pupils of all abilities across day-to-day assignments.
• Managing classroom behaviour effectively in line with individual school guidelines.
• Marking completed work before leaving the school day and providing handover notes where necessary.

What We Are Looking For

• Hold UK QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification (ECTs are warmly welcomed to apply!).
• Flexible, adaptable, and reliable attitude with a passion for education.
• Strong classroom management and communication skills.
• An enhanced DBS certificate on the update service (or willingness to apply for one through Tradewind).

• CV must cover full employment history from leaving continuous education
• Legal right to work in the UK
