Job Description
Role: Product Support Application Specialist
Location: South Wales, Field Based (Own vehicle and driving license required)
Hours: Full-time
Contract: 12 months, Inside IR35
Pay: -200 - -230 per day PAYE basic or -265.27 - -305.06 per day Umbrella
An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Product Support Application Specialist to join one of our longstanding clients, a leading global healthcare organisation.
This is a customer-facing, field-based position supporting laboratories across South Wales with diagnostic systems, training and technical support. Full training and induction will be provided.

The Requirements:
- Must live or work in South Wales
- Biomedical Science or laboratory experience is essential
- Previous experience within diagnostics or pathology laboratories would be advantageous
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Confident working directly with customers
- Full UK driving licence and own vehicle required
- Willingness to travel throughout South Wales and occasionally across mainland UK
- Flexibility for overnight stays when required
The Role:
- Visit and support laboratory customers across South Wales
- Provide hands-on product and application support
- Train laboratory staff on diagnostic systems
- Troubleshoot technical and application issues
- Support system implementation and optimisation
- Build strong relationships with laboratory customers
- Work alongside technical and engineering specialists
- Travel nationally when required, including occasional overnight stays
