About this role
This is a full time, permanent Production Planner role in Newcastle upon Tyne, paying £35,000 to £40,000 per annum plus a benefits package. Working day shifts Monday to Friday, the post-holder ensures timely movement of product through the production process, communicating updates at each stage of the production plan to the manufacturing team and making sure customer requirements are met on time and to specification. Applicants should have previous production planning experience, be computer literate in MS Word and Excel, and hold knowledge of planning or scheduling packages, with training given. Problem solving, analytical skills and knowledge of lean manufacturing methods are also required.

Kinetic Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Production Planner for a Engineering company based in Newcastle Upon Tyne. The Production Planner will ensure timely movement of product through the production process, communicating updates at each stage of the production plan to the manufacturing team and making sure customer requirements are met on time and to specification.
Skills and experience;
- Knowledge and previous experience of Production Planning
- Computer Literate (MS Word and Excel)
- Knowledge and experience of Planning/Scheduling packages (training will be given)
- Problem solving and analytical skills
- Ability to work well alone and as part of a team
- Knowledge of the latest lean manufacturing methods
- Process Control and Improvement
