About this role
This Project Manager role is with a well-established construction and fit-out contractor delivering new build, refurbishment and interior fit-out projects across the UK, within commercial, healthcare and public sector schemes. Based in Northampton, the position offers £60,000 to £70,000 per annum plus car allowance and additional benefits. Responsibilities include leading construction projects from pre-construction through to completion, ensuring programme, quality and commercial targets are achieved, managing site teams, subcontractors and supply chain partners, maintaining client relationships, and overseeing health and safety compliance, project reporting and risk management. Candidates should have proven Project Management experience within construction, fit-out or refurbishment.

Project Manager roles and responsibilities
- Lead construction projects from pre-construction through to completion, ensuring programme, quality and commercial targets are achieved.
- Manage site teams, subcontractors and supply chain partners throughout the project lifecycle.
- Maintain strong client relationships and act as the main point of contact on project delivery.
- Oversee health & safety compliance, project reporting and risk management.
- Coordinate project meetings and ensure works are delivered to the highest standard.
Project Manager requirements
- Proven Project Management experience within the construction, fit-out or refurbishment sectors.
- Strong understanding of programme management, budgeting and construction methodologies.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple packages and subcontractors on site.
- Relevant industry qualifications including SMSTS, CSCS and First Aid are desirable.
- Must Travel or Lodge away across the UK.
