Project Manager | Residential

This is a Project Manager role with a Tier 1 main contractor, based in Whitkirk, strengthening its residential delivery team in Yorkshire. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of delivering residential schemes within a main contractor environment, including RC frame developments, affordable housing or townhouses. Responsibilities include managing larger projects and multiple subcontract packages, maintaining a good understanding of construction programmes and project delivery, and applying strong leadership, communication and client-facing skills.

Are you an experienced Project Manager with a background in residential construction, looking to take responsibility for major new build developments?

We're recruiting for an established Tier 1 main contractor looking to strengthen its residential delivery team in Yorkshire.

The business delivers a range of residential projects, including RC frame developments, affordable housing and townhouses, with values reaching circa £50m.

They're looking for someone with a proven track record of delivering residential schemes within a main contractor environment.

The Role;

• Oversee the delivery of residential projects up to circa £50m
• Manage site teams, subcontractors and the wider project team
• Coordinate construction activities to ensure projects are delivered safely and on programme
• Work closely with commercial, design and planning teams
• Monitor progress, manage key milestones and resolve delivery issues
• Liaise with clients, consultants and other stakeholders
• Oversee projects through to completion and handover

What We're Looking For;

• Proven experience as a Project Manager with a main contractor
• Strong background delivering residential construction projects
• Experience with RC frame developments, affordable housing or townhouses
• Comfortable managing larger projects and multiple subcontract packages
• Good understanding of construction programmes and project delivery
• Strong leadership, communication and client-facing skills
