Quantity Surveyor

This Quantity Surveyor role is with a regional main contractor based in Ringwood, Hampshire, working across commercial, industrial, retail and healthcare sectors. The position has arisen following recent project wins, with the successful candidate working on projects valued between £250k and £6m. Key responsibilities include managing subcontract procurement, managing subcontractor accounts on site and dealing with variations, managing monthly valuations and liaising with the client, and dealing with final accounts. Applicants should hold an HNC, ONC or degree in Quantity Surveying or Building Studies, have around 7+ years of construction contracting experience, and understand JCT Standard and D&B forms of contract. The salary is £40,000 to £68,000 per annum plus package.

We have an excellent opportunity for a Quantity Surveyor to join a regional main contractor based in Ringwood, Hampshire. The business undertakes projects across commercial, industrial, retail, and healthcare sectors. As a result of some recent project wins, they're now looking to expand their team with an additional Quantity Surveyor.

As Quantity Surveyor, you will be working on a project valued between -250k - -6m

Key Responsibilities as Quantity Surveyor:

• Manage subcontract procurement
• Manage subcontractors accounts on site, dealing with variations
• Manage monthly valuations and liaise with the client
• Deal with final accounts

Key Requirements for this Quantity Surveyor position:

• Have a HNC / ONC or Degree in Quantity Surveying / Building Studies etc.
• Have around 7+ years of construction contracting experience
• Have an understanding of JCT Standard and D&B forms of contract
• Must have the full right to work in the UK
• Must live within commutable distance to Ringwood, Hampshire
