Refuse Driver

Belmont Recruitment seeks a Refuse Driver for Northwest Leicestershire District in Coalville on an initial three-month temporary contract. This full-time role offers £16.31 per hour, working 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday. Key duties include collecting and emptying wheeled bins and boxes in line with collection round sheets, returning bins to collection points, and delivering or collecting bins as required. The postholder must ensure the vehicle is roadworthy before leaving the depot, wash and clean it as directed, and ensure it is never loaded over the legal limit. A current, clean Category C Vocational Licence and previous refuse driver experience are essential.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver and collect bins as required and carry out other refuse collection or recycling duties as instructed

• Ensure that the vehicle is roadworthy before leaving the depot each day.- Wash and clean the vehicle as directed

• Ensure that the vehicle is not loaded over the legal limit.

Essential Requirements

• Current, clean Category C Vocational Licence

• Previous experience as a refuse driver-
