Registered Manager - Children's Home

This role is for a Registered Manager at a children’s home in Derby, with a salary of £55,000 to £63,000 per annum plus a £7,500 joining bonus. You will manage a warm and friendly home that is a safe and supportive environment for children and young people to achieve positive outcomes authentic to them. Responsibilities include ensuring compliance with the Children’s Homes Regulations and delivering high-quality care, leading and inspiring a motivated team with guidance and support, managing budgets, resources and the home environment, safeguarding young people and liaising with professionals, and driving continuous improvement so the home’s statement of purpose is fulfilled.

We have an opportunity for a Registered Manager to join our team to ensure exceptional care and a nurturing environment for our young people in our childrens home.

As a Registered Manager, you will support young people in the many different aspects of daily life within our homes including:

• Manage a warm and friendly home that is a safe and supportive environment for our children and young people to achieve positive outcomes authentic to them
• Ensure compliance with the Childrens Homes Regulations and deliver high-quality care.
• Lead and inspire a motivated team, providing guidance and support.
• Manage budgets, resources, and the home environment.
• Safeguard young people and liaise with professionals to achieve positive outcomes.
• Drive continuous improvement and ensure the home's statement of purpose is fulfilled.

What we're looking for from you:

• Extensive experience in children's residential care management.
• Experience working in a LD/EBD home is desirable.
• A strong understanding of relevant legislation and safeguarding procedures.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• A commitment to providing a nurturing and empowering environment.
• You hold an NVQ/QCF Level 3 Diploma for the Children's and Young People's Workforce
• You also hold your QCF Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management in Residential Children's Services or be willing to undertake this qualification as part of the role.
• Hold a full UK driving license
