SC Cleared Penetration Tester, Outside IR35, 6 Months

This is a six-month contract for an SC Cleared Penetration Tester, based in Manchester with remote working and occasional Manchester travel, paying £550 - £650/day Outside IR35. You will support a public sector customer to deliver high-assurance security testing across complex infrastructure, cloud, containerised and enterprise environments, helping clients identify vulnerabilities and strengthen their security posture. Responsibilities include leading and delivering penetration testing engagements and providing expert guidance, coaching and technical leadership to colleagues and clients. The role requires strong cloud penetration testing experience, ideally AWS, exposure to container tools such as Docker and Kubernetes, and a strong understanding of CyberSecurity Practices and Identity and Access Management security.

We are looking for a security cleared penetration tester to support a public sector customer to deliver high-assurance security testing.

The role offers the opportunity to work on complex infrastructure, cloud, containerised, and enterprise environments, helping clients identify vulnerabilities and strengthen their security posture. You will be responsible for leading and delivering penetration testing engagements while providing expert guidance, coaching, and technical leadership to colleagues and clients.

Required experience:

• Strong Cloud Pen testing experience, ideally AWS
• Exposure to container tools such as Docker and Kubernetes
• Check Team Lead either active or recent
• Strong understanding of CyberSecurity Practices
• Identity and Access Management (IAM) security
• Experience delivering into the public sector
• Active SC clearance
