SEND Teaching Assistant

This is a SEND Teaching Assistant role in Loughborough, starting as soon as possible, with a daily rate of £92.63 to £100.00. The position is flexible day-to-day supply, typically worked between 9am and 3:45pm, and involves supporting pupils with a range of special educational needs and disabilities. Duties include assisting with learning and engagement and providing personal care where appropriate. Applicants should have previous relevant experience supporting children or young people with SEND, along with experience working with a variety of additional needs. The SEND Teaching Assistant role is flexible day-to-day supply, allowing you to work around your availability, with typical hours of 9am - 3:45pm. The successful SEND Teaching Assistant will support pupils with a range of SEND needs, assist with learning and engagement, and may be required to provide personal care where appropriate.

The successful SEND Teaching Assistant will have:

- Previous relevant experience supporting children or young people with SEND
- Experience working with a variety of additional needs
- Confidence supporting pupils with their learning and development
- A willingness to provide personal care where required
- A patient, caring and adaptable approach
- The ability to work flexibly as part of a supportive team
