Senior Quantity Surveyor

A leading construction consultancy is seeking a forward-thinking Senior Quantity Surveyor with Employer's Agent responsibilities to join its Birmingham office. Working within a collaborative team of Quantity Surveyors, the role focuses primarily on residential projects, particularly social housing. The successful candidate will run projects from inception to completion, delegate pre- and post-contract work to junior quantity surveyors, and work in a client-facing manner. The position offers £55,000 to £70,000 per annum plus car allowance, hybrid and flexible working, sponsorship of professional fees, life assurance, twice-yearly pay reviews, pension, RICS fees and APC training. MRICS is preferable, along with Employer's Agent experience, residential project experience, at least four years at a PQS consultancy and a Quantity Surveying degree or RICS accreditation.

The Senior Quantity Surveyor role

The Senior Quantity Surveyor will mainly be working as part of a collaborative team of Quantity Surveyors in the residential sectors primarily taking on social housing projects.

The successful Senior Quantity Surveyor will run projects from inception to completion, whilst also delegating pre and post contract work to junior quantity surveyors in the team and whilst working in a client facing manner.

The Senior Quantity Surveyor

• Preferably MRICS
• Experience of acting as an Employers Agent
• Residential project experience
• At least 4 years' experience at a PQS consultancy
• Completed a Quantity Surveying degree or RICS accredited
