Shunter

Grafters Recruit are recruiting several Shunters for a large transport company, based in Glascote. The role involves Class 1 shunting, carrying out basic shunting work around the site yard and shifting vehicles, with night shifts available from 19:00 to 03:30, Monday to Friday, and no handball. Pay is £21.73 per hour for the first 40 hours, £26.00 per hour overtime and £38 per hour bank holidays, with a minimum of eight hours' pay. Applicants need a valid Class 1 licence, Digi Card, CPC, at least one year's experience and good communication skills.

• Class 1 Shunting

• Hours of work - 19:00 - 03:30
• Min pay 8 hours even if you finish earlier than your agreed times.
• Ongoing Contract
• Part time and ad hoc positions available as well

Requirements

• Valid Class 1 Licence
• Valid Digi Card
• Valid CPC
• 1 year experience minimum
• Safety Boots and High Vis
• No more than 6 points on your licence
• No IN10, DR10 etc
• Good Communication skills
• PAYE drivers only
• Ability to start immediately
