We are currently recruiting for a Freelance Site Administrator to join a well-established social housing contractor working across the Durham area.

This is a great opportunity for an experienced Site Administrator to provide essential administrative support to the site and operational teams, helping ensure projects are delivered efficiently and all documentation is maintained to a high standard.

The Role

As Site Administrator, you will support the Site and Project Management teams with the day-to-day administration of social housing works.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Providing general administrative support to Site and Project Managers.
  • Maintaining accurate project and site records.
  • Updating spreadsheets, databases and project documentation.
  • Assisting with timesheets, labour records and subcontractor information.
  • Raising and processing purchase orders and invoices where required.
  • Maintaining health & safety and compliance documentation.
  • Assisting with document control and filing.
  • Liaising with operatives, subcontractors, clients and internal departments.
  • Supporting project reporting and general administration.
  • Ensuring information is recorded accurately and issued within required timescales.
About You

The successful candidate will ideally have:

  • Previous experience as a Site Administrator, Project Administrator or Document Controller within the construction industry.
  • Experience within social housing, repairs & maintenance or planned works is advantageous.
  • Strong organisational and administrative skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Good IT skills, particularly Microsoft Excel and Word.
  • The ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Strong communication skills and a professional approach.
  • Experience working within a busy construction or site environment.
