Site Engineer

This is a Site Engineer role based on the Isle of Arran with a civil engineering contractor operating across the civils sector on renewable energy projects. The position is offered on a contract basis at £380 to £400 per day, outside IR35. Responsibilities include setting out using total station and GPS, covering earthworks, duct installations, troughs and RC bases, alongside site supervision and working with the project management team. The role requires ensuring health and safety compliance, that works follow agreed methodology and method, and that documentation is held on site and works completed on time to specification.

I am working alongside a leading civil engineering contractor who are currently looking to hire an experienced Site Engineer due to a number of new contracts being awarded. My client operates-across the civils sector on renewable energy projects.-

Site Engineer responsibilities:-

• Setting out using total station & GPS. Works include earthworks, duct installations, troughs, and RC bases.-
• Working alongside the project management team.
• Site supervision.-
• Ensuring health and safety compliance.
• Ensuring works are being carried out in accordance to agreed methodology-and method.-
• Ensuring the correct documentation is held on site.
• Ensuring works are completed on time and to specification.

Site Engineer requirements:

• Experience with setting out-earthworks, duct installations, troughs, and RC bases.
• Right to work in the UK.
• CSCS card-
• SSSTS/SMSTS ticket holder (preferable)
• Full UK driving licence.
• Strong communication skills.
