Site Engineer

A civil engineering contractor requires an experienced Site Engineer in Southend-on-Sea on a contract basis, with day rate of £350 - £400 Outside IR35. Responsibilities include setting out using total station and GPS on works covering earthworks, duct installations, troughs and RC bases, working alongside the project management team and providing site supervision. The role also involves ensuring health and safety compliance, confirming works are carried out in accordance with agreed methodology, maintaining correct documentation on site, and ensuring works are completed on time and to specification. Strong communication skills are required.

I am working alongside a leading civil engineering contractor who are currently looking to hire an experienced Site Engineer due to a number of new contracts being awarded. My client operates-across the civils sector on renewable energy projects.-

Site Engineer responsibilities:-

• Setting out using total station & GPS. Works include earthworks, duct installations, troughs, and RC bases.-
• Working alongside the project management team.
• Site supervision.-
• Ensuring health and safety compliance.
• Ensuring works are being carried out in accordance to agreed methodology-and method.-
• Ensuring the correct documentation is held on site.
• Ensuring works are completed on time and to specification.

Site Engineer requirements:

• Experience with setting out-earthworks, duct installations, troughs, and RC bases.
• Right to work in the UK.
• CSCS card-
• SSSTS/SMSTS ticket holder (preferable)
• Full UK driving licence.
• Strong communication skills.
