Artisan Recruitment seeks a Facade Site Manager for a Central London project, paid £300 per day. The role oversees facade leak investigations and remediation, covering daily site operations, fault diagnosis and repair works to keep the building envelope weather-tight, safe and compliant. Responsibilities include coordinating diagnostic testing such as hose or spray testing to identify the root cause of water penetration through curtain walling, rainscreen, windows or render, and supervising remedial works including sealant replacement, flashing repairs, cavity barrier reinstatement and membrane renewals. The postholder leads specialist sealant, mastic and cladding contractors, maintains Test and Inspection Plans and QA documentation, and manages safe working at height.

Job Description

Artisan Recruitment are looking for a Facade Site Manager for a project in Central London. The SM-will be managing facade-A site manager for facade leak investigations and remediation oversees daily site operations, fault diagnosis, and repair works to ensure the building envelope is weather-tight, safe, and compliant.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Leak Investigation & Diagnostics: Coordinate diagnostic testing (such as hose or spray testing) to identify the precise root cause of water penetration through curtain walling, rainscreen, windows, or render.-
  • Repair Execution: Supervise remedial works including sealant replacement, flashing repairs, cavity barrier reinstatement, and membrane renewals.
  • Subcontractor Management: Lead specialist sealant, mastic, and cladding contractors on site, ensuring work quality meets design specifications.-
  • Quality Assurance: Maintain rigorous Test and Inspection Plans (TIPs), photo logs, and QA documentation for every repaired elevation.-
  • Health & Safety: Manage safe working at height (scaffolding, MEWPs, or rope access/abseiling), issue permits to work, and conduct daily briefings and toolbox talks.

Candidate must have SMSTS, CSCS, 1st Aid
