Site Manager

This is a Site Manager role based in Clayhall with a leading construction contractor, joining their planned works division. The position involves delivering external planned maintenance projects to street properties, tower blocks and scattered properties across London. Day-to-day duties include managing sub-contractors and direct operatives, leading the site team, managing delivery of works to specification, and carrying out pre and post inspections. The role also requires health, safety and quality checks, with several direct reports including RLOs and office staff. A roofing career background is sought, along with strong communication skills and a proven track record delivering external planned maintenance projects. Salary is £50,000 to £55,000 per annum plus package.

Up to £55,000 plus package

Our Client, a leading construction contractor are currently looking for a Site Manager to join their planned works division.

Projects that are being delivered will be external plan maintenance projects to street properties across London . They are being delivered to tower blocks and scattered propoerties.

On a day to day basis, you will act as an integral part of the operational team and carry out the following duties:

Management of sub-contractors & direct operatives

Lead the site team to the best of your ability

Manage delivery of works to specification

Have several direct reports to manage including RLO's and office staff

Pre & post inspections of works

Health & safety & quality checks

My client are looking for someone with a roofing career background as well as strong communication skills and a proven track record managing and delivering external planned maintenance projects. A valid SMSTS, First Aid, CSCS, and Asbestos Awareness are required.
