Site Supervisor

This Site Supervisor role in Shepherds Bush involves overseeing roofing and cladding operations on projects across West London for an established roofing and cladding contractor. The successful candidate will supervise day-to-day installation activities and coordinate site operatives, subcontractors, labour, materials and equipment. Responsibilities include ensuring works are completed in accordance with drawings, specifications and project programmes, monitoring workmanship through quality inspections and snagging, and ensuring compliance with health and safety requirements, RAMS and site procedures. The role also involves liaising with project managers, main contractors and other trades, monitoring progress, reporting delays or issues, and maintaining accurate site records. The day rate is £250 to £280.

The Opportunity

An established roofing and cladding contractor is seeking an experienced Site Supervisor to oversee roofing and cladding operations on projects across West London.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in roofing and cladding installations, excellent site management skills, and the ability to coordinate site operatives and subcontractors while maintaining high standards of health and safety, quality and productivity.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise day-to-day roofing and cladding installation activities.

• Coordinate site operatives, subcontractors, labour, materials and equipment.

• Ensure all works are completed in accordance with drawings, specifications and project programmes.

• Monitor workmanship and carry out quality inspections and snagging.

• Ensure compliance with health and safety requirements, RAMS and site procedures.

• Liaise with project managers, main contractors and other trades.

• Monitor progress and report any delays or issues to the project management team.

• Maintain accurate site records, daily reports and progress updates.

• Ensure the site remains organised, safe and compliant.

Candidate Requirements

• Proven experience as a Site Supervisor, Working Foreman or similar within roofing and cladding.

• Good knowledge of commercial or industrial roofing and cladding systems.

• Experience managing site operatives and subcontractors.

• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.

• Strong understanding of construction health and safety procedures.

• Valid SSSTS or SMSTS certification.

• Valid CSCS card.

• First Aid qualification desirable.

• Excellent communication, organisational and leadership skills.

• Full UK driving licence preferred.
