Skilled Fencer

TFN Landscapes, established in 1979, is seeking a Skilled Fencer to join its friendly team in Gloucester, with travel to various sites. The permanent, full-time role involves installing fences using materials such as wood, metal and concrete, measuring and cutting materials to accurate dimensions, erecting fence posts securely and fabricating custom fence panels to specifications. You will use power tools for cutting, drilling and shaping, and welding metal components for custom designs is desirable but not essential. Candidates must hold a CSCS card and driver's licence, with at least 3–5 years' experience in a fencing, carpentry or handyman capacity and at least 3 years' commercial experience. Salary is commensurate with experience and skills.

About us:

TFN Landscapes are seeking a skilled Fencer to join our friendly team installing fences for various commercial projects. Established in 1979, we primarily install commercial site fencing and show home fencing, however we work with all other types of fencing, including panel, close board, hoarding, acoustic, heras, post and wire & more.

About the role:

• Installing fences using a variety of materials such as wood, metal, and concrete
• Measuring and cutting materials to ensure accurate dimensions
• Utilise power tools for cutting, drilling, and shaping materials
• Erecting fence posts securely into the ground
• Fabricating custom fence panels according to specifications
• Welding metal components for custom fencing designs (not essential)

About you:

Essential:

• CSCS Card
• Driver's License
• Proven track record with minimum 3-5 years experience in a fencing, carpentry, or handyman capacity
• At least 3 years commercial experience

Ideally Candidates Will Have:

• Proven expertise in delivering high-quality fencing solutions
• Knowledge of the use of power tools for efficient work processes
• Competency with hand tools for intricate tasks
• Skill in carpentry to fabricate and install custom fence designs
• Understanding of electrical considerations related to fencing installations

Desirable:

• Competency in welding metal components
