Telecommunications Engineer

This is a night-shift Telecommunications Engineer role based at various London Underground stations across Zones 1 to 3. Working Sunday to Thursday nights from 00:30am to 04:30am, with site sign-in at 11:45pm, the engineer will carry out installation, termination and testing of CAT6A and fibre cabling, plus antennas, racks, cabling and equipment. The rate is £190 per shift, with ongoing work for the next six months and continuity based on work performance. Mandatory requirements include a JIB or CSCS Skilled Card, ICI, DBS check, Manual Handling and Asbestos Awareness; a PASMA card is preferred.

Our client, a large rail Telecom business are looking for Comms Engineers who are interested in working night shifts on the rail. There will be additional opportunities to join the project on a weekly basis as the numbers increase with additional teams and stations.

*Works: Installation, Termination, and Testing of CAT6A & Fibre Cabling. Installation, Termination, & Testing of Antennas & Racks, Cabling, and Equipment.

*Rate: -190 per shift.

*Shifts and hours: Sunday-Thursday nights working from 00:30am to 04:30am. All operatives are expected to be on site at 11.45pm each night to sign in and prepare for the works. Ongoing work for the next 6 months, continuity is based on your work performance.

*Qualifications Mandatory; JIB Card or CSCS Skilled Card, ICI, DBS Check, Manual Handling and Asbestos Awareness. Additional Preference holding a PASMA Card.

*Address; Various London Underground Stations Zones 1-3.

*Before starting on the project, all operatives must undertake a pre sponsorship drugs & alcohol test. Operatives must also be either clean shaven or wear an Airshield Pro Mask for the duration of the project.
