Warehouse Op

Masstemps are recruiting a Warehouse Operative for our team in Warndon, Worcester, paying £13.00 per hour on a Wed/Thurs/Sat/Sun 1pm–9pm shift pattern. The successful candidate will support the day-to-day running of the warehouse, helping to ensure stock is handled safely and orders are picked and dispatched efficiently. Responsibilities include unloading deliveries from incoming vehicles, loading trucks for dispatch, picking stock accurately and efficiently, moving and organising stock, keeping the warehouse clean and tidy, and following all health and safety procedures. You must be reliable, punctual, comfortable with heavy lifting and manual handling, physically fit, and have good attention to detail. Previous warehouse experience is desirable but not essential.

Key Responsibilities

• Unloading deliveries from incoming vehicles.
• Loading trucks and vehicles for dispatch.
• Working safely within warehouse racking areas.
• Picking stock accurately and efficiently.
• Moving, handling and organising stock around the warehouse.
• Keeping the warehouse clean, tidy and organised.
• Following all health and safety procedures.

Requirements

• Reliable, punctual and committed to the agreed shift pattern.
• Comfortable with heavy lifting and manual handling.
• Physically fit and able to carry out a hands-on role.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good attention to detail when picking and handling stock.
• A positive attitude and a strong work ethic.
• Previous warehouse experience is desirable but not essential.

Hours of work:

Wed/Thurs/Sat/Sun 1pm-9pm

Rate of pay:

£13.00 per hour
