Warehouse Operative

Gi Group is recruiting Warehouse Operatives for a client in the Mollinburn area, a key player in the home delivery industry, with regular ongoing work available. Duties include loading and unloading vehicles, scanning parcels with a hand-held scanner, picking orders, sorting products into bays for loading, heavy lifting and manual handling, and general housekeeping to maintain a clean and safe warehouse. Candidates should have a proven track record of good timekeeping and attendance, be reliable, hard-working and physically fit, and be willing to learn and support the team.

As we approach the busiest time of the year, there will be regular ongoing work available for the right candidates.

Pay

• Pay rate: -12.71 per hour
• Weekly Pay

Shift Pattern

• Monday to Friday
• Day shift: 08:00 - 17:30
• Backshift:14:00-23:00

Key Responsibilities

As a Warehouse Operative, your duties will include:

• Loading and unloading vehicles
• Scanning parcels using a hand-held scanner
• Picking orders (paper-based picks)
• Sorting products into bays for loading
• Heavy lifting and manual handling
• General housekeeping - maintaining a clean and safe warehouse environment

We're looking for candidates who:

• Have a proven track record of good timekeeping and attendance
• Are reliable, hard-working and physically fit
• Can work effectively in a busy warehouse environment
• Are willing to learn and support the team
